The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has worsened the income disparity among society. Millions of people have lost their jobs and their livelihood, which has resulted in widening the gap between the rich and the poor.
Social Entrepreneurs are also facing the brunt of the pandemic. Most of these Social Enterprises saw a plummet in activities and had to resort to alternative and more creative ways to sustain their business and existence.
The ASEAN Social Business Conference 2021 will be focusing on Social Entrepreneurs affected by the COVID-19, with the theme “Thinking Outside the Box: Social Enterprise Survival in the Covid -19 Period” will be held from November 15 to 16, 2021, organized by INTI International University and Co organized with The Yunus Social Business Centre at UKM (YSBC UKM).
